1. About Tapify NFC Tools

Tapify NFC Tools is an NFC utility application that allows users to:

  • Read NFC tags
  • Write information to NFC tags
  • Create and write records such as URLs, text, phone numbers, and other supported NFC data
  • View information stored on compatible NFC tags
  • Use NFC functionality directly from an Android device

The App does not require users to create an account or log in.

2. Information We Collect

We aim to collect as little information as possible.

NFC Tag Data

When you use the App to read or write an NFC tag, the App may access information stored on or being written to the NFC tag.

Depending on the type of NFC record, this may include:

  • URLs
  • Text
  • Phone numbers
  • Contact information
  • Other NFC-compatible record data

NFC tag data is accessed to provide the requested read/write functionality.

We do not intentionally collect NFC tag information for advertising or sell NFC tag data to third parties.

Device Information

The App may process limited technical information required for the App to function correctly, such as:

  • Android device and operating system information

  • Basic diagnostic or crash information
  • Technical information associated with app performance

3. Firebase Services

Tapify NFC Tools may use Google Firebase services for backend functionality, diagnostics, analytics, crash reporting, or other technical purposes.

Depending on the Firebase services enabled in the App, Firebase may process certain technical information such as device information, app usage information, crash reports, and diagnostic data.

Firebase services are provided by Google and are subject to Google’s applicable privacy practices.

4. No Account or Login Required

Tapify NFC Tools does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or log in to use the core NFC functionality.

We do not require registration for reading or writing NFC tags.

5. NFC Permission

The App requires access to the device’s NFC functionality in order to read and write NFC tags.

NFC access is used only to provide NFC-related features requested by the user.

The App does not continuously scan for NFC tags when NFC functionality is not being used.

6. How We Use Information

Information processed by the App may be used to:

  • Provide NFC reading functionality
  • Provide NFC writing functionality
  • Process NFC records selected by the user
  • Maintain and improve the App
  • Diagnose crashes and technical problems
  • Monitor app performance and reliability

We do not use NFC tag data for targeted advertising.

7. Data Storage

Tapify NFC Tools is designed to minimize unnecessary storage of personal information.

Information that you enter into an NFC record may be written directly to the NFC tag according to the functionality you select.

The App does not require an online account to perform NFC read/write operations.

If technical or diagnostic data is processed through third-party services such as Firebase, that data may be stored and processed according to the applicable service provider’s policies.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share limited information with service providers when necessary to operate, maintain, secure, or improve the App.

These service providers may include infrastructure, analytics, crash-reporting, or other technical service providers used by the App.

9. Third-Party Services

These services may include Google Firebase and other services required for app functionality, analytics, diagnostics, or infrastructure.

However, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Your Responsibility When Writing NFC Tags

Users are responsible for the information they choose to write to NFC tags.

Please do not write sensitive, confidential, financial, authentication, password, or other highly sensitive information to NFC tags unless you understand the associated security risks.

NFC tags can potentially be read by compatible devices when they are within communication range.

Tapify NFC Tools is not responsible for information that users intentionally write to NFC tags or for unauthorized access to information stored on NFC tags.

13. Links and External Content

The App may process or display URLs and other content provided by users or stored on NFC tags.

Tapify NFC Tools does not control external websites or services linked through NFC records.

When you open an external website or service, that website’s own privacy policy and terms may apply.

14. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

NFC tag information written by you is stored on the NFC tag itself and is not necessarily stored on our servers.

15. Your Choices

You can control the App’s access to certain device permissions through your Android device settings.

You can also choose whether or not to use NFC functionality.

If you do not grant NFC permission or disable NFC functionality, some features of the App may not work.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
